Some of my pictures are clear and others are super dark, I don't understand why?
Good lighting is a fundamental element for a successful shot. The difference between these two photos is the sun in front or behind the camera. Turn the vehicle around, and try to focus the light on it. Remember that the light must fall on the subject and not come out from behind, otherwise, you will only get a backlit silhouette. Always have the light source BEHIND you and never in front!
