Close-up is good, but not too close

The car need to be fully visible.

It turns out that in a close-up photo, the geometry of the image changes, distorting the appearance of the vehicle.

  • Do not get closer than 8 feet when shooting "3/4 angles".
  • Do not get closer than 5 feet to maintain details and avoid extreme distortion.

The vehicle no longer looks like itself and is at a distinct advantage. Move the lens back slightly and you will see that the image will be much more natural.

You should ALWAYS see the tires (or close to).
